Prompt: How do you find time to enjoy your day, even when you have a lot going on? Write about at least three specific things you do to enjoy small moments throughout your day.

Even with a busy schedule, I try to enjoy small moments during my day. I listen to music whenever I have a break, which helps me chill out. I also take time to talk to friends between classes, just to catch up. Lastly, I like taking a quick walk or having a snack to clear my mind. Today in class, we finished our one-pager and turned it in. I feel pretty good about mine because I took my time to focus on the details. I made sure to highlight the main themes of The Lamb and The Tyger, and I think I explained everything clearly. Overall, I’m happy with how it turned out and feel confident about it. Overall, today was a good day. I got a lot done, like finishing and turning in my one-pager, which I feel good about. We also had some time to relax between classes, and I managed to catch up with a few friends. Even though we lost our playoff game, I stayed positive and focused on the good parts of the day.

Prompt: Write about what you remember or have been told about the day you were born. What were the emotions or events surrounding it? Do you relate more to "Infant Joy" or "Infant Sorrow"?

I was told that the day I was born was a very happy day for my family. Everyone was excited and full of joy. Because of that, I feel like I relate more to Infant Joy. It was a peaceful and special moment for them. Today in class, we started our one-pager on The Lamb and The Tyger by William Blake. We talked about how The Lamb represents innocence and kindness, while The Tyger shows strength and mystery. We also looked at the symbolism in both poems and how Blake uses it to explore good and evil. The poems show different sides of life and creation. Overall, today was a bad day because we lost our playoff game in soccer. It was tough since we had worked so hard to get that far, and everyone was really hoping for a win. We played our best, but it just wasn’t enough. It’s disappointing, but we’ll use it as motivation to improve for next season.

Prompt: After reading The Tyger by William Blake, take a moment to reflect on the idea of creation. What do you believe is the most beautiful creation in the world—natural or man-made—and why? Describe it in detail and explain what makes it so awe-inspiring to you.

I think the most beautiful creation in the world is the ocean. It is so big and full of life, with blue water that shines in the sun. Every wave and every creature inside it shows how amazing nature is. The ocean inspires me because it feels peaceful but powerful at the same time. Today in class, we read The Tyger by William Blake. After reading it, we analyzed it together as a class. We talked about what the poem means and shared our ideas . School was okay today. Classes went by like usual, and there wasn’t anything crazy or exciting that happened. I just focused on my work and hung out with some friends during lunch. Overall, it was a pretty calm and normal day.

Prompt: Easter Sunday was yesterday, a holiday full of traditions for many people. What holiday do you look forward to the most each year, and why is it your favorite? Share what you usually do to celebrate it and what makes it meaningful or fun for you."

The holiday I look forward to the most is Christmas. I love spending time with my family and seeing all the decorations. We usually eat a big dinner and exchange gifts. It’s my favorite because it feels warm and full of love. Today in class, we read a poem together. After reading it, we talked about what it meant. We analyzed the poem as a group and shared our ideas. Today was a really good day at school. My classes went well, and I had a fun time with my friends. After school, I went to soccer practice and worked hard with my team. It felt good to stay active and end the day doing something I love.

Prompt: What steps can you take now to prepare for a career that pays more than minimum wage? Think about education, skill-building, job research, and networking. Which steps are most important for you right now?

To get a job that pays more than minimum wage, I can focus on school and learn new skills. I should also look up jobs I like and see what they need. Talking to people with those jobs can help too. Right now, doing well in school and building skills are the most important for me. Today in class, we watched a YouTube video about a single mom living on a $7.50 minimum wage with one kid. It showed how hard it was for her to pay for things and take care of her child. After the video, we answered questions about her life. It helped us understand how tough living on minimum wage can be. Overall, today was chill and peaceful. Nothing was too stressful, and everything went smoothly. I felt calm during school and after. It was a nice, easy day.

Prompt: Write about what you did over the Spring Break.

During spring break, I got my wisdom teeth taken out. It wasn’t fun, but I needed to do it. I spent most of the week resting and eating soft foods. I didn’t go out or do much, but it gave me time to relax. In class, we worked on questions about our future careers. We had to think about what job we want. Then we answered questions to help us learn more about it. It helped us plan for the future. Overall, today was a good day at school. I finished all my work and stayed focused in class. After school was nice and relaxing. It felt like a smooth and positive day.

Prompt: If you could plan the perfect spring break with no limitation, money, time, or responsibilities—what would it look like? Where would you go, who would you bring, and what would you do?

If I could plan the perfect spring break, I’d go with my friends to see the 7 wonders of the world. We’d start in Mexico at Chichen Itza, then travel everywhere together, laughing, exploring, and taking a million pictures. No stress, no school, just good vibes and adventure. It would be the trip of a lifetime. Today in class we were just making up work. I already had all my stuff done. So I just chilled and waited for the bell. It felt good not being behind. Overall, school was chill today. I didn’t really do much in any of my classes. Most teachers just had us catch up on work or review stuff. I already had most of mine done, so I wasn’t stressed. It was a slow, easy day.
